Privacy Policy

Albori is an alarm clock. Its job is to wake you up, not to collect your life. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with data.
The short version
- Camera frames used by wake-up missions are processed entirely on your iPhone and are never stored, never uploaded, and never leave the device.
- Your alarms, tasks, and morning history are stored locally on your device.
- Albori shows no ads and never sells your data.
- No account is required to use Albori.
Camera and motion data
Missions like Object Photo, Squats, and Push-ups use your iPhone's camera with Apple's on-device Vision framework to recognize objects and count exercise repetitions. This processing happens on your device only. Camera frames are analyzed in memory and discarded, they are not saved to your photo library, not stored by the app, and not transmitted anywhere. The app states this on screen whenever the camera is active. Camera permission is requested the first time you try a camera mission, and every camera mission has a no-camera fallback (Math Sprint).
Data stored on your device
Albori keeps your alarms, chosen wake-up tasks, and morning logs (whether you completed your task, stayed up, and met your target time) in the app's local database on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account; Albori never sees your payment details. To manage subscription status (for example, whether your trial is active), the app uses RevenueCat, which processes your App Store receipt and an anonymous app-generated identifier. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or contacts.
Analytics
To understand which features help people wake up (and which don't), Albori collects limited, event-level product analytics, for example, "an alarm was created" or "a mission was completed", using PostHog. These events never include camera content, alarm audio, precise location, or contact information. Analytics data is used only to improve the product.
Notifications
Albori asks for notification permission (alerts and sound) so it can remind you about the optional follow-up check after your wake-up task. Notification content is generated on your device and is never sent to a server. Your alarm does not depend on this: the alarm itself is scheduled with Apple's AlarmKit, which rings through Silent mode and Focus whether or not you allow notifications.
Children
Albori is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
